This webinar will help you to finalize an international adoption in Maryland. It has been prepared by John Greene, a highly regarded attorney with years of adoption experience in Maryland. 

While every effort has been made to provide the most current information and facts, please note that there are two details in the webinar that are being reviewed: 

1. Slide 5 indicates that families can choose to re-finalize their adoption in Baltimore, where the agency's office is located. However, this would require a change of venue. We believe that in almost all circumstances, a family should finalize their adoption in the county of their residence. 
2. Slide 7 indicates that a child over age 10 will need to be represented by his or her own attorney. However, we believe that this is only the case if the adoption was not finalized overseas.
